The Butterfly Effect

A really cool movie (sci-fi thriller), highly recommended to anyone looking for something new to watch. Basically the star (Ashton Kutcher) learns to go back in time and re-live past events of his life by reading excerpts from his personal journal. He goes back in order to change certain decisions that he's made that have had a negative impact in his current life. The problem is, each time he makes a change, it inadvertently creates numerous other unintended consequences (an offshoot of the chaos theory). The theatrical version, and Director's cut have different endings, I won't give them away. I guess the DVD has both versions? I have only seen the theatrical ending so far, the other, at least the way it was described to me sounds better though?

I've heard nothing but good things about this movie as well but haven't seen it yet. I'm sure there's probably already a thread about this one somewhere on this site but I haven't come across it yet? If you've seen it, how would you rate it? Four stars being the best?
