A really cool movie (sci-fi thriller), highly recommended to anyone looking for something new to watch. Basically the star (Ashton Kutcher) learns to go back in time and re-live past events of his life by reading excerpts from his personal journal. He goes back in order to change certain decisions that he's made that have had a negative impact in his current life. The problem is, each time he makes a change, it inadvertently creates numerous other unintended consequences (an offshoot of the chaos theory). The theatrical version, and Director's cut have different endings, I won't give them away. I guess the DVD has both versions? I have only seen the theatrical ending so far, the other, at least the way it was described to me sounds better though? (Official website) www.butterflyeffectmovie.com/
