Goin' On Vacation

[glow=blue,2,300]I have been feeling a fabulous urge over the past few months to go visit a lot of people and since this Friday is my last day of work, I have been thinking it just might happen in the next month or so.

I am waiting to hear about one interview and then I will have more information that will help me decide how I am going to work it. I have really been wanting to drive across the country, though I may end up flying instead. I'm just not sure yet.

Anyway, I figured I'd post this now and mention that I will be taking my laptop with me so I will be able to be gotten ahold of by email. However, I do feel tha over the past few months I have been coming to this forum simply out of habit, and not for the reasons stated in the purpose of it.

SO....not only will I be taking an actual vacation, I feel that I need a vacation from Earth Council. I have become bored and am no longer finding the information purposeful. This seems to be a pattern with ALL forums and we all seem to come back at some point, which is very interesting.

I'll probably poke my head in occasionally in search of something new, but I don't want to come here out of habit anymore. I want it to have meaning.

And I'll certainly be back to post pictures that I take along the way!

[glow=blue,2,300]Well, I had my interview on Wednesday and I feel like it went really well. I should know in about 2 weeks what their decision is.

In the meantime, I just plain don't know what's going to happen vacation wise. However, I am feeling like the drive isn't going to happen anytime soon. I'm kinda bummed, but it feels like it's not going to happen because I have to focus on other things. So, I'll still be in and out. [/glow]

We don't tend to use the word vacation, but usually prefer "holiday". However, the word vacation probably did originate here, not sure in what context though. Hope this helps!
