dana reeve has joined christopher in spirit. she was 44, and died of lung cancer.
i was struck by the devotion and love which she showed for her husband after his appalling injury, for her constant care for him, and for the way in which she taught their son to deal with the change in their lives.
her first thought was for will, when she was diagnosed. now she is Home, and with chris again, but will is facing life without his parents.
perhaps we can all send him some loving thoughts. he is very young to have lost both parents, as well as his grandmother, within such a short space of time.
he will certainly be in my thoughts, as will his parents. they were extraordinary people. very bright souls indeed.
