Hi Guys, Sorry I have been away from ther boards. My father is very sick. he is in intensive care and the family has gathered in case he doesn't make it to say farewell. When I get back home I will see you all as getting on line is not a priority at the moment. See you all soon!

Thanks for letting us know, MirRA. I'm so sorry to hear your father is having difficulties... this is a very difficult transit, these last few months and a few more ahead, for the human form. Those with pre-existing frailties may find it the hardest... ((((Hugs and love!)))) May each and all find their choices for transition in whatever form be met with the least amount of suffering and pain possible.

Thank you guys for the support. I came back home. My father is still trying to hold on. His lungs got full of water and they are trying to drain them but they just keep filling up again. Lost case. He also has other complications. I have always said that Pneumonia is the shadow of death coming to get you. I have to yet any one survive this unless they are young. I do feel that seeing him in life and being able to say good-bye was my intention and with that done I feel at peace. Others sisters are by his side and some of us had to return home because of work responsibilities. I also hope his transition is a peaceful one.

MirRa,
I'm so sorry to hear your father is passing, but thankfully you understand it on a different level and I hope that gives you the peace you need during your grief.
You know, I have an aunt who has lung problems (emphysema and a history of pneumonia) and she hangs on and hangs on too. I forget what lung problems are symbolic of, but maybe people who have those types of emotional issues are prone to hold on. I know for my aunt, it will be a sort of relief when she finally passes. I don't see her often, but last time it was very hard on ME to watch her like that, and I'd rather not have to again. I know she's afraid to die, but unwilling to let go of the baggage too.
Anyway, my thoughts are with you. I'm sure during your visit you were a bright light shining for him.
Love, Nicole

May your Father cross over gently MirRa and be met by those that Love him on the other side of the veil. May those that are left behind process and grow from the experience we all share at some point in the physical....the gathering of Family on both sides comforting...much Love and Peace of mind to follow....sorry that you must go through the pain of the loss.

Guys, Thank you all for the kind and supportive words. They do make us wonder how much we love our family. The latest news from my father is that he was removed from Intensive Care to a private room. I imagine he is doing better. Seems like he's still fighting to hold on. He is 74 yrs old. I read somewhere that the rate for ddeparting this plane for males is between the ages 70-75. They said that is a soul passes this age and is able to hold on, that person will be around for a long while. This means that then they can make it into the 80-90 range. Today 74 is not old, 90 and over is considered old because we our life spand has expanded. Anyways, i am very happy to hear that his situation has improved. Once again, thank you for sending those love waves my way. I needed them!
