I wrote this ages ago, actually, but it keeps popping into my awareness today, so I thought I'd share it. Seems timely.
Perception,
rightly enough,
is a tricky thing;
twisting this way and that
the most innocent of scenes.
Lift it high,
turn it over,
look inside,
if need be...
Don't be so quick,
in the final analysis,
to label that which
seems to be.
