Friday, Sep. 7, 2007 | In big news today, Pluto in Sagittarius stations direct at 9:52 AM EDT, followed shortly by the Moon's ingress into Leo at 11:59 AM; Venus stations direct in Leo tomorrow. Pluto has been retrograde since Mar. 31, 2007 (around the time of the last set of eclipses), taking us on a tour of our core beliefs. With this change of motion happening days before the eclipse, this reversal is a bolt of fiery energy propelling us into the future.
There are few other aspects taking place today prior to Pluto's change in motion. Overnight the Sun squares the Great Attractor and then semisquares Juno during the early morning hours in New York. Also, Jupiter sextiles Chiron, and Mercury sextiles Pholus. Although there is a certain amount of polarity in the air, there is also the potential for great healing on a personal, as well as a global, level.
With the Sun and the Great Attractor in aspect, there is a tendency and ability to dissect and analyze -- this can be a good or a bad thing. In relationships, I would say let this be a no-no. The square aspect is telling me that this needs to be worked out internally, but I would also warn against being too self-critical.
With Jupiter and Chiron in aspect, there is a feeling of people being able to overcome their religious beliefs. We can expect there to be more acceptance and tolerance of another person's faith and of his or her beliefs -- the lack of which is exactly the problem with most organized religions. With the crisis we face in the world today, I do hope we see a larger manifestation of this aspect -- we could sure use it.
With Mercury in Libra and in aspect to Pholus, don't underestimate the power of words today. A simple statement or conversation could have the most overwhelming results.
