October 2006 Overview
The month of October is universally a NINE month, which signals the time of ending for the major themes during this nine year cycle from 1999. Our fields have been changed and adjusted to the crops that we have been trying to grow for many years now (since the 1 universal year of 1999). With the themes experienced and completed during this cycle, we are now seeing the lights dim on the themes, challenges, and purpose that has kept us involved in our growth while on the stage of this cycle. Planting the seeds that we have valued and carried in our hearts for these many years, we begin to complete the growth for this field. All of our efforts and motives for planting the qualities, characteristics, dreams and goals have had a chance to be expressed. Now the lights will begin to dim on the environments that have been an important part of this nine year cycle and give us the understanding that we are winding down on the events associated with this cycle and will prepare for the major transition year of 2007. October begins the process as the lights dim, the props of people, places and things begin to prepare for the cosmic stagehands to take them to their next destination. Our life becomes uncertain and the changes inevitable. As many parts of our life change and prepare for completion, we are left with the strong feelings of void as we don’t know where our future takes us.
The unsettled and uncertain time of October and November, will be emphasized by Mercury retrograde in Scorpio along with Jupiter in Scorpio moving through the last degrees. All that Jupiter has discovered in the deep parts of our self are now rising to the surface to take us into our new shore. Similar to the submarine of values, ethics and motives surfacing, the summation of who we are will now be guided to the appropriate shore, taking us to our new land. This new land will be the mirror of the cumulative qualities that we have expressed during the challenges and hostilities as well as expressed during the positive and joyful times. These qualities determine the right of passage to our new shore that is being created as others within this time of social transformation are being created as well. Mercury retrogrades on October 28th, which becomes D-day as we prepare to transition into our new directions. From October 28th through November 17th , Mercury will be revising our directions. November 19th brings on the winds of change planet Uranus turning into direct motion, ready to blow each on of us into our new world, ready to make some major changes and transitions all during 2007. This is the preparation time to package up all that we are and all that we stand for, grab our surfacing submarine and make way for our arrival on our new shore.
From the Solar and Lunar Eclipse in September, we begin to plan and organize our efforts that will allow us to take our harvest to market. As the Solar Eclipse of September 22nd brings about true energies, we continue to expand our true energies into the Full Harvest Moon on October 6th.
October 1st through October 7th
This week, October 1st through October 7th, we begin with the energy of a new month in which Mercury moves into the in depth sigh of Scorpio to set the pace for the next two months. Wednesday the Moon connects with the winds of change Uranus. This brings in a feeling of knowing that a new energy is coming. This becomes the tsunami of information that hits our shore full force on Friday, October 6th. This Harvest Moon brings all that is deep below the surface to become visible. As this full moon rises, the messages become deafening and we know that our life is ready to take major turns in the pathway of transition. This Harvest Moon is in the Aries and Libra sectors, widening the gap of the true inner self and the self we show and share with others. The messages that hit our shore are taking the last eight years of efforts and motives to Harvest and the transitions are mirrored by the harvest. Changing directions become the events that take over our life as situations veer us one way then another.
