Thursday, Sep. 20, 2007 | We've had some intense energy to deal with this week. The intense T-Square aspect between the Sun, Pluto and Mars is one of maximum tension, stirring up deep volcanic energy, taking us into the depths of our souls, forcing us to face our inner demons and purge them.
We are coming up on the equinox, the Full Moon, and the pending Venus - Neptune and Mars - Pluto oppositions tomorrow. Today the Sun exacts its square with the Galactic Core after having squared Pluto yesterday. Our foundations of belief are being shaken to the core. What seemed like a crisis yesterday can today be a beacon of hope.
This is the rainbow after the storm - it is still a square, so there still is a certain amount of internal tension. But as opposed to yesterday's feeling of being annihilated, this is us on the verge of a certain enlightenment. Remember, the darkest hour is always before the dawn.
Among other aspects today, Mercury opposes Eris. This transit questions everything we stand for and asks us to examine what we believe and why. Who are we, and what is our role in our relationships? How much do we rely on our relationships to give us our sense of identity? Are we capable of being independent, yet entangled and entwined? Is it possible to be an individual, yet connected? These are some of the questions that are surfacing at the moment.
Although these are intense times, there is the potential for extreme release. We are being forced to give up beliefs that don't belong and to confront all of our ideals that are anything but ideal. Bruised as we are, we can pray to the coming Full Moon to bring us the beautiful wisdom we so desire.

I hope you are all coping well with this astrology. It has been challenging, to say the least, but we are building muscle here.
