Sama, I don't think there are any spider people, but the shadow people ( an alien race) do take on the form of spiders. www.shadows.ufo2u.com/

Well oddly enough, I have to speak about this. I had had a dream last night about mechanical spiders, something similar to the replecators in the Stargate Sg-1 t.v. series. Anyways those things definitely struck a cord with me and brought me some emotional stuff out in me.
But in regards to this dream last night, they agian were mechanical in nature, and they were infesting, taking over or what ever you want to call it the place I was at. I had a hand held mini sledghamer and I was going around banging on these things to destroy them. They were oddly enough not like the replicators in the Stargate sg-1 t.v. series but similar. Instead of feeding off of metals to replicate they were feeding off of energy sources. It felt like I was in a basement of sorts and as I got close to banging/hamering on one of them to destroy them my left arm and shoulder passed through a energy field of some sort that was surrounding a generator I was on the side of. The mechanical spider was latched onto a power conduit/pipe at the time behind and to the side of the generator.
Not to mention I have also had in the past a couple years a vision/dreams of running in a forest being chased by these giant spiders that would hunt us and eat us. No wonder why I have had an absolute fear of spiders all through out my life.
Peace, Love and Joy,
Ed

Grandmother Spider wove the fabric of the universe. Spider's Wisdom Includes: - Master weaver
- Weaver of the web of fate
- Wisdom
- Creativity
- Divine inspiration
- Shapeshifting
- Understanding the patterns of illusion
- Female energy for the creative force of life
www.geocities.com/~animalspirits/index11.htmlWhen spiders appear in dreams they are representing the idea that: "You create your own web or life space; you may go anywhere and weave any life you choose; the eight legs of the spider represents the cosmic energy for creating our own worlds. All too often we get caught in our own webs, forgetting they are but illusions of our own making; we seek to control, manipulate others, pulling them into our own limited realities. Trap; illusion; caution." (The Dream Book" Betty Bethards)

Wonderful pic. I also do not like spiders but they have their place - as long as they stay in their place and not mine I am happy. Interestingly however, this has awakened something deep in my mind - I have a sense of a 'spider' race from the past. I can visualise them and they a large and silvery white. They are gentle creatures not as we see them now. Something happened to them and like us they ended up here. Does this make sense to anyone?

I really can't say. It's odd... I have a "remembrance" of encountering spider beings, and yet no real clarity or information flows about it.
On the more mundane level, I have no fear of spiders or desire to avoid them, specifically, and recall even since childhood a feeling in me that they exist where they need to be. I felt strongly that I was to leave them alone, that they assist life in ways we often couldn't see, was the feeling.
Many people tend to want to crush them as soon as they see them in their environment, but I had an equally strong desire not to crush them at all, but to give them space and thank them for their service. At most, I'll remove them to the outdoors if I find them in the house in areas where my roommates are likely to kill them. Interesting, eh? No real conscious understanding of why I've always had that deep-seated feeling about them. It's a respect for them that comes from a deep inner place.

Nemue, Your statement has clicked something in me. I recall playing with all kinds of spiders when i was a child. Somehow people have the perception that they are dangerous and have been taught to fear them. They are very interesting spiritual guides and not everyone can assimilate with them. They can also be tricky and you may get cuahght up in their web, what this means what level your intentions are regarding your spiritual intents and that's how they will reflect back to one.

i just dont like all those legs.....there is something about them which makes me very uncomfortable. and i once read that it had been postulated that spiders were some kind of mutant creation of the ancients in atlantis, and had broken into this dimension somehow.
personally, i incline to that view!!! LOL!! i do have a very kind spider catcher though, with long silky bristles, as the other one i had, which was a mini vacuum, was not strong enough to cope with some of the hooligan spiders who live in my flat! they were so big that they just spread their legs and braced and it didnt budge 'em! so i invested a little dosh in the kindly one, and it is really gentle. it requires a little getting used to, and i have on several occasions pursued a laughing spider around the room while it sprinted under the furniture.
i just dont want to see or FEEL them......ooh yuk. YUK!!!

Now, now kids...yes Virginia there is a spider race and a very ancient one too ...AND there is even a race of AI's or artificial intelligence...i.e. robotic spiders.
I know Nicole and Orancia can tell you more abou these ancient gallactic races. I have dim memories and only bits and pieces of information about them...and on top of it am watching American Idol so the brain is not exactly on spiders...bugs maybe but not spiders.

synchronistically enough I had a dream about 2 months ago that I was plopped down from a ship onto a rolling green meadow, and was then chased by spider type beings (they were mechanical though, not biological, yet they looked and sounded like the real deal, just clankier). at full speed (i was a skilled runner) while I tried to make it to some type of bunker.
I woke up realizing where my fear of spiders comes from in this life.
So I decided to try to overcome my fear by embracing it. I am working at it, its not easy, my heart says "they are Gods creatures" but my skin crawls all the same lol.
Time - patience.
This is a beautiful nebula though, I see it as the infinity symbol - it is so endless and breath taking!
Much Love, Destra
