you know what is strange??? is when I get in my dreams for quite some time, my ancestors have been talking to me. Ones that have been dead for 50 years or more. Here is one good example. About five years ago, I was searching for my family tree. I had found one of my ancestors who died in 1876. Someone in a city in a state (won't say the name right now) told me that my ancestor was buried in this location next to his father? brother?. I had dream for weeks that my ancestor came to me and said "I am not buried there. I am buried next to my irish wife. why doesn't anyone visit me?" he was basically stalking me until I visited him. It was kind of funny.
so one day my friend and I decided to go to the place where this person said he was buried. now I said my ancestor said he wasn't buried there. I told that man. That man insisted he was buried there because of the 'grave documents' but I said that my ancestor was moved. I knew it.
The man got out dousing rods. My friend also used a pair (she made her own dousing rods later. It was a lot of fun
) and what came to my suprise??? My ancestor wasn't buried there. The guy was dumbfounded and changed the record.
So my ancestor was moved from one city to another city when his wife died in 1919.
And I went to that city (the other one), visited my ancestor. I felt he was happy I visited him and he let go of me. Sometimes he will visit me and tell me some cool family stories.
Another one (different side of the family) has been visiting me daily and nightly. I can't say what it is but I have to visit is grave. He killed himself in 1930 and no one visited him after he died. He also killed his second wife. I found the article(s) after 7 years of searching and now I have to figure out why he did it and visit his grave to show that he is loved. He died thinking that no one loved him. I know this he has showed me (and some of the 'scenes'/'memories' are disturbing)..
