Guys, Here is a dream I'm having a hard time decifering.
I plugged in the water distiller without water in it. I immediately remembered I forgot to put the water in and pulled out the plug. Too late, the wall outlet started smoking and shortly started on fire.
I called the fire department but they didn't believe that there was a fire and asked me did I have a stroke? I angerly told them that I had not had a stroke.
The fire by now was burning the north wall. It had burned through. You could see outside through the chicken wire that was between the wall. We could see you the fire had burned the tree next to the house.
My dead step mother called me on the phone. Then she was beside me in the house. The fire was by now out. Boomer commented on that fact. And my electric light were flickering. End of dream.
I know the tree is spiritual growth. Fire is purification. My dead step mother is part of me that is dead, or is it? The wall outlet is my source to power. Water is emotion. Telepnone is communication. What is the fire department?
In real life my lights were turning on and off. ;D

Wow, Lun, this is an intriguing dream!
I'd say the Fire Department is a guiding part of self, or guidance, that works with you during cleansing/purification phases, helping you eliminate negative beliefs and attitudes.
The conflict with them, albeit more like a misunderstanding, seems important to note here. And I checked out the dream dictionary you posted regarding STROKE and check this out!
The sense I get from that is that you're being asked if you've given up your investment in growth here, or if you're still interested in continuing. And if it's the latter, something needs to be looked at. Your vehement "no" to the stroke question indicates that you did indeed let them know that you haven't given up, just that perhaps you're confused or didn't realize what the heck was going on.
The start of the dream seems highly significant to me - the fact that there was no water (emotional energy) in the distiller when you added electricity (life force) to it. This caused the fire.
Following that, the north side of the house burns... NORTH often indicates darkness, uncertainty or ignorance. The place in self or point from which we seek spiritual guidance. It also can symbolize cold emotions or feelings, emotionless - an area of emotional energy we have shut off or repressed.
Phone calls are also often guidance in a dream, so having your dead step mother call and then appear may be the help you need to decipher what part of self needs another look. Something to do with her, or feelings around her?
Ghosts or the dead in dreams can indicate parts of self we don't consciously understand or acknowledge properly. They "haunt" us or shadow our lives, until we bring them to our conscious understanding in proper light and love. They can also be themselves in the dream, indicating an actual visitation, which is most often done for comfort or support during tough times.
So... the sense I get is that it may be both a warning AND a purification message dream. Indicating that purification is needed. Deep, turned off emotions need airing and cleansing because there's danger in increasing your frequency or power without doing this.
What do you think?? Your call, of course. You have the felt experience of the dream and your own inner awareness to help you determine the real message here. Blessings to you in doing so!
Love you! (((Hugs))) Sowelu

Hi Lunaria, Could the fire department represent those who do not believe in the light or those in your life who are not spiritually aware? Their suggestion that you might be having a stroke seems to be their skepticism saying that it's all in your mind. The stroke reminds me people science/medical community who attribute near death and out of body experiences to biological/brain activity. I also wonder if fire department represents skeptical individuals who are close to you in your life. In the end, your spirituality came to the rescue and triumphed in the dream. Maybe it's about faith/spirituality purifying or overcoming skepticism/doubt. -SeaofFeeling

Hi SeaofFeeling, Yes, I do have people around me that are not spiritual and in fact make fun of my beliefs. I mostly ignore them.

I studied my dream last night and now understand it. I am thankful for the help I received with the interpretation.
The Biker dream and this one are about the same thing. Spirit is giving me the info in a different way, trying to make me understand.
My dead step mother types for me a certain thing. That thing is the theme in both dreams.
Now I have asked for one more dream to confirm it. I have asked it be given me within 24 hours. That would make it tomorrow morning.
The reason I am asking is because the dream I had this morning faded from my memory too fast. But the feeling of it was the same theme.
Now what to do about it and how. ;D
