Help! Does anyone know about ORBS?

I just bought a new house and am moving in a month! YAY! finally! Anyway, someone took some photos for me yesterday and the house is FULL of ORBS, especially the master bedroom. I mean FULL! Maybe several hundred. I have a vague memory about Orbs but not enough to speak with any degree of certainty. Does anyone here know anything about them? Wasn't there a discussion about Orbs a few years ago? Thanks in advance if you can fill me in.

I don't know much of anything about orbs myself, though I have encountered them. When I did, I had a very uplifted feeling, very positive and joyful, actually.

Below is from a friend's site, who is very much into exploring the Orb phenomenon, though her site is not dedicated to it, just a few posts over the years. If you do a google search, there's information out there, though I don't think there's anything definitive...

For those of you who are new to my orb photos, here's the basics:

Orbs have been showing up in photographs for many years, however with the advent of the digital camera, they have been appearing with increasing frequency. At first, it was thought to be an anomaly of the digital technology, or dust on the lens, moisture in the air, or intentional photo alteration. Over the years, these theories have been shown to be true for some orb photos, however, even eliminating those, there are millions of orb photos that cannot be explained technically.

Orbs are usually spherical in shape, they usually have color, and frequently they have intricate geometric shapes within the spheres. Most are photographed outdoors, and nearly all are photographed with flash.

If you want an excellent scientific, technical, and spiritual analysis of orb photographs, read The Orb Project by Miceal Ledwith and Klaus Heinemann. Miceal is a theologian and former president of Maynooth College in Ireland. Klaus holds a Ph.D. in experimental physics from the University of Tubingen. There is a forward by one of the leading physicists of the past century, William Tiller, Ph.D. The book includes many orb photos taken by each author.

For a purely spiritual explanation, turn to Diana Cooper's books and her website. Her two books on orbs are Enlightenment Through Orbs, and Ascension Through Orbs.

I tend to think the orbs are images of highly evolved light beings, and personally I don't feel the need to attach names or identities to them, though I have no problem with those like Diana who do so. Ledwith and Heinemann explain that they are at a light frequency that can only be captured by flash because flash "freezes" a picture of a rapidly moving object. "It gives an image of how it was, in that precise millisecond of the flash, without blurring, even though the shutter speed might not itself be rapid enough to "freeze" the motion of the object."

Ledwith, Heinemann and others have experimented with communicating with the orbs with interesting results. In other words they may, for example, ask the orbs to line up in a certain configuration, or shape, and immediately see the feedback!

The fact that they are showing up with dramatically increasing frequency may have to do with the earth changes - electromagnetic, geophysical, and the shift in consciousness on and in earth. The orbs may also be attempting to communicate with more individuals, in a similar fashion to the crop circles.
