Ed, I'm 46 1/2 yrs old and I can hear it. Perfectly, and annoyingly! I read about this "teen sound" years ago and wondered if I'd be able to hear it. Turns out... I do. When I was a young child, I couldn't walk into jewelry stores because there was a high pitched noise made by sonic cleansers, I think, that was awful to my ears. My parents thought I was nuts when I reacted to it because they didn't hear a thing. My sister was sensitive in this way, too. Don't know about now, though. Thanks for the video link! Love you! Huh. My roommate says that the sound on the news video may not be "the" sound. Because he can hear it too, and when he was visiting his young nephew, his nephew played a sound that the nephew could hear... but my roommate could not. So, maybe this video doesn't have the actual sound on it. Oh well, I thought it might be a good test, guess not.
