Hey All! I just recently started getting nudged to make changes here at Earth Council, much to my surprise. I've already moved some boards, deleted one or two, placed access to our Member Photo album at the top of every page (rather than buried in an obscure board down low on our page)... and I'm sure there'll be more changes. I just don't quite know what yet. I feel there's a lot of under-used and/or superfluous stuff here, now that so much has changed in our mass consciousness. I'm just not sure what to do with it all yet. It's occurred to me that all of this may simply be reflective of changes occurring in my own heart space, though it might also be indicative of change on a larger scale for us all. It's not clear yet. It's exciting to me to consider there may well be a new usefulness for this place coming up in the future, though. It's been so very inactive for so long, you know? Please feel free to make comments and/or suggestions if you feel them. Here's to moving onward and upward! Much love, Sowelu

Hi Sowelu, I've been having all kinds of nudges about making all kinds of changes too. Must be the times! Here is something I would like to see changed...the color of the boards. I have always found it very difficult to read. I know we went through this a few years ago but maybe a new look will add to the new feel. I already have to increase the text size to read the posts and as we all get a little older and our eye site gets a little more fuzzy maybe a clearer color combo between text and background would make it more welcoming and those of us who come would be able to stay longer and read more. Personally I would like to see black text no matter what the background color and a pale back ground, sky blue would be nice or pale creamy pink for the heart. My twenty two cents.
Love Lili

Thanks, Lili! My eyes have their difficulties here as well, so I completely appreciate your suggestions. I've looked into changing the size of the text and there is no pre-made or default option solution. Perhaps HTML code can do it, but it's not an option I can just select for larger, unfortunately. And coding will take some time for a learning curve, at least. Color changes with this particular forum are a huge undertaking too, unfortunately, so it might be a while before I manage it. I'm mostly seeking inward for these changes, and so far a color scheme or "new feel" hasn't been inspired. It's mostly been structural stuff so far. I'll certainly keep your suggestions in mind, though, as we move through this. I'll admit that today I feel less enthusiastic about it than yesterday, for some reason, so we'll see what we see, you know? ((((Thanks!)))) Love you! Sowelu

Hi Sowelu, Yes now that the inspriation has been established the work part is becoming more real. I'd help but am brain dead around all that computer stuff. I only know exactly what I need to know on this toy. And btw, even just changing the font color to black and leaving the back ground as is will help a lot.
Good luck. Love, LILI

I actually THOUGHT of that, Lili, and then forgot I'd had the thought! LOL! LOL! My brain is swiss cheese lately. I'll go do that with the black text. Love you! Sowelu

Dear Sowelu: I have to tell you...I like the colors the way they are...I think they are easier to read here then when you go to the website referral...green is easy on the eyes.. Just my 2 cents! Love, Spirit

((((Thanks, Spirit!)))) Well... I still don't get an inner inspiration to change the overall color scheme here, and I also had a moment of experiencing the "serene" feeling of encountering our greenness while I was contemplating changes. It suddenly stood out just how it feels to my energy field when I come here, as opposed to so many other sites on the web. So... perhaps it will stay. I have to say, though, that like Lili I find the black text easier to read on either of the two background colors we use, so I think that's a keeper. Thanks for your 2 cents, I appreciate it!! Love you! Sowelu

Wow, Sowelu, what a difference the black text is on the eyes. It's a good contrast on both greens like you say and I find it much easier to read especially longer posts. Thanks for making the change. It feels good to be heard for a change. In the outside world my voice is like a whisper on a stormy night. No one hears me and for those that don't most don't care or won't listen. :-( I spend a lot of time by myself lately.
Love LILI

Hi Lili: Yes..the black text does help! I understand how important it is to be heard, too. Sometimes I feel invisible, also! These are very challenging times we live in and one can feel really lonely out there. Thank God for tis family! Happy eclipse for everyone! Love, Spirit

Hi,
I just wanted to poke my head in and say hi and a big thank you to Sowelu for keeping this site running. It seems that many of us have not been so active on and around this site and I feel it is reflective of the changes that we are all going through individually and collectively.
I consider this site like a rock and when I need a reminder of home I log in. Usually I just get this urge, log on and find something to read that inspires me.
The format of the site in my humble opinon, colours, text etc is absolutely fine, for me it is the content that counts.
Thank you again Sowelu for your commitment in keeping this site running even though at times it seems as though there aren't many of us around.
For me, the changes have been astronomical, I have an 8mth old little boy called Raphael and have found the journey and transition into motherhood a wonderful change in my life and an opportunity to put into practice all that I have learnt on a spiritual level. Prior to becoming a mum I went through many changes and released and let go of many things that I know now was preparing me for what I am doing now.
Anyway thought I would just say a few words and let you know I am still very much here!
Love and peaceful blessings to you all!
