[glow=blue,2,A]I'M INNN!!!!!!!! AAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! Both my mom and I now have high speed wireless! WHOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!
I went back to Circut City and oh, they are SOOOO NICE! The guy was working on it and starting to not be able to figure it out. I knew though, that this time was IT. I knew it, I didn't know what was going to happen, or how, but I knew this time was THE time. I just FELT ready.
As the guy was working on it and getting frustrated, I just held my confidence. Then a manager came by and asked how it was going. We said fine, and he said, "are you just recharging that, or what?" Then the guy helping us, Ian, told him what was going on. The manager said, "Just replace it with a new modem and a seperate router. I was just at a woman's house last night with one of those damn things and it doesn't work. It's just crap. Just replace it." SO....the whole product all together was no good, and lots of people were having the exact same issues! So, they replaced it and I got $42 back! It was even less expensive!
So I got home and was putting it all together.....oh man, I started to get worried cause it wasn't working. There were all these messages that "The order of how things get plugged in is EXTREMELY important, make sure you follow the directions exactly..." blah blah balh.....well, it wasn't f*ing working! Then I told my mom, "Ian just said plug the router in the modem and it should work." So I did....and it worked! LMAO! It took far less effort than I thought.
What an insaine few weeks it has been getting this all together. Oh, I can't even begin to describe how relieved I am!!!!!!!
Everything is just perfect. On the drive home, the sunset was just absolutely beautiful, the air was fresh, I had a fabulous steak dinner! Oh, I am in absolute heaven, HEAVEN I tell ya!
Talk about metamorphosis! I have just come from an apartment into a house, from desktop to laptop, from dial up to high speed, from wired to wireless.
Boy, am I exhausted! LOL!
Oh and I am so relieved. I am sure you all are relieved as well so you don't have to hear me whining anymore! LMAO!
Thank you all so much for putting up with me and allowing me to get through this on my own and supporting me at the same time.
