Hi darlin,
I have wanted to ask since I joined EC over a year ago... what does your name Sowelu mean? I'm sorry if this sounds dense lol.
The reason I ask, is it is so similar to the rune, Sowulo, which is a Light sharing rune. You are definately a Light sharing being. And I draw a connection between your name and this rune.
But i'd love to know the origins of your name!

((((Hiya Destra!)))) Your instincts and intuition are right on!  I posted this quite a while ago, when a previous member was curious how others came to their screen names and spiritual names, so I thought I'd post it again here, with the addition of an actual quote from the Book of Runes.
I think it was 1990 or 1991 when I was home with a flu-like thing, but I was supposed to be working on a brochure for a client of mine.
I wasn't feeling very inspired but was seeking inward for inspiration nonetheless, and just doodling on a piece of a paper, wondering what would be a good logo for this client's business.
I ended up doodling this image:  and immediately knew it was "me", not a logo for my client. Not that it was for me, but that it WAS me. You know that inner sensation of knowing? It was huge.
The next day I went with my roommate to a bookstore and I purchased Ralph Blum's "The Book of Runes" after just opening the book to a page where lo and behold, there it was... the first "S" in that logo image above, the symbol for "Sowelu". I had never even heard of the Runes before, but man... what a feeling!!
And in that book's description of the meaning of the Rune, I got an even deeper, awe-inspiring "hit" of recognition...
The bold emphasis in the quote is mine, and indicates what caused my mouth to go dry and my stomach to drop - I knew that the phrase was precisely, exactly, specifically... what I am here for and what will happen for me in this life. I can't emphasize enough how much it felt like I was being directly spoken to, personally, while reading that Rune's meaning.
Not long after that I had my first psychic reading and was called "Sowelu" in the reading. So... I guess you could say it was confirmed. ;D I still get referred to as "Sowelu" at times, by Higher Self and Guides, in readings.
I'll add, though, that my birth name was pretty specific, it feels like, too: Susan. And also that I am aware of another name that I am called by higher frequency beings: Sriloii
I "get" that it isn't so important anyway, though, and that in fact I'm known by many names in many dimensions. Has anyone else become aware of something like that? Has something to do with the designed expression chosen to befit the dimension or density in question, perhaps? That every name has a tone and vibration, and fits the life expression.

Yes,
I am aware of something very similar. Good, for you! I am known by many names, in many dimensions. It is a MULTI-UNIVERSE. Once again, vibrational theory, string theory, Unified Field Theory is reaching out in epic proportions. There are no coincidences. What you found in the books, you supposed to find.
Have no fear. There is greatness in ALL of your names on an ethereal plane. Fill the space, sing them out, enjoy them. They will empower you on many different levels. Time to multi-task.

((((Thanks, penndragon!)))) And very cool that you're aware of something similar with regard to multiple names for multiple levels of self. For me, the issue has never so much been the other multiple dimensions/levels, it's this one. Heh heh. That's the point of this incarnation, and it's the toughest aspect of Who I Truly Am for me, so far. Bringing it all HERE, or as much as possible (the whole "Become conscious of your essence, and bring it into form" part, you know?). Multi-tasking at other levels is more natural to me than breathing is here. *heehee* Love you! Sowelu |

Very cool, Angel Heart! ((((Hugs!)))) So it seems a number of us are aware, or becoming aware, of our concurrent existence at other levels of this universe. Very exciting! I wonder if anyone knows themselves or senses themselves outside this holographic universe, as I do? Angel Heart, do you know if your sense of the Angelic of yourself is within this system, or if it is more a "Wanderer" type? |

Hmmm no idea. I have something I like to say when the occasion fits: "That Spirit of mine, She's always going around and doing stuff without telling me." Maybe She is a wanderer. I have seen Myself dressed in different roles in Spirit. These I know were seeing My"Self" and not alternate realities/parallel universes/past lives. It seems like the more pieces to the puzzle that are revealed the more complicated it seems. (((hugs))) ;D

Sowelu Thank you so much for explaining this! How wonderful!! Yes, I have more than one name as well, the new ones have been revealing themselves for about the past year. I still relate to Destra strongest, but funny part is it is not Destra... i've had it a bit wrong for over a decade, my guides made it clear a couple months ago it is actually D'est Ra. Destra means the hand of God loosely. So I figured that must be it! But the proper spelling was given to me in the summer, and makes much more sense as I'm french, I don't know how I never did the math myself! lol D'est Ra - of the Sun. Well I metup with two "Oracle children" while dreamscaping or intentful dreaming and they said,"You are known to us as Menguard".When I asked them what am I known as on the other side? they looked at each other perplexed ,but when I asked them who I am when I am whole? They said ohh..You are known as Menguard.One "ORACLE"was in a orange robe and the other in a powder blue robe/jog suit."Menguard means;"Guardian OF HUMANITY".

VERY cool! It helps me understand our connection better, too, actually. In a sense, we work together to fulfill the plan. Of course, that can be said for all of us, but certain relationships are more closely aligned than others, and at different levels of Creation.
