Hi Nicole,
Yeah I haven't really thought of that, its the quantity as well! Yes I also found taste is a good quide. But as I said before, sometimes it makes me a little sad that I do not enjoy stuff anymore that gave me great tastebudpleasure in the past as well as a feeling of comfort. I hate goodbyes, lol
But I'll take your quantity remark as a special tip, maybe I can enjoy things that I crave out of memory in small tiny bits so I don't get that yucky feeling, but still a little of the comfort as long as I am transitioning. Maybe I'll feel totally ok letting things go later on... Just don't feel ready as yet.
Thanks!
Love, Dutch Raven

Well yeah! I hear that! I have had a love affair with Coke and when it's not absolutely great, it does make me sad! LOL
I say just eat what you want. Honestly, nothing out there in this particular world is really good for you anymore, ya know? You just have to see what suits you. If you're not ready to let something go why do it? At the same time just try and be mindful of whether you're stuffing it in because it is really awesome of out of habit. That's what I've done with the Coke thing.
I'm actually drinking one now. Almost an entire 20 oz, which isn't even what I normally do anyway. But it's GOOD today! LOL I had cranberry juice for breakfast so I guess I deserve a little Coke! hehehe

I am in favor of whatever your craving food wise it is you should indulge it...at least once in awhile and apply moderation in all cases.

I find that I am having to eat more nuts and seeds. Namely roasted and salted sunflower seeds in the shell. I can only eat slices of beef dried to aid my digestive tract; I would prefer to not have to eat meat, but I eat it in moderation. I find that I am eating more carbs; such as mashed potatoes and cereal. I can't have a plate full of food with protiens, carbs, and zincs mixed togethor on a plate. I like Opaniel listen to my body telling me what it needs, and not what I want. I also find that sundried tomatoes on bruchetta and goats cheese I can sometimes taste even if I haven't had one for a while. When I am eating seeds; I can literally survive on them without needing anything else. It is like my body is cleansing itself of certain toxins, which some foods may contain. I don't feel hunger like my husband, or other people do. I taste what I need. I don't know if any of you know what I mean. You have the taste in your mouth, but you haven't actually eaten it. Sometimes I get strange cravings for soy sauce, worschestire sauce with pepper, sea salt, and paprika. I have about a quarter of a glass (6 oz ) full and it seems to settle my stomache. Like Opaniel I have noticed the same thing about Coke. One minute-it is really sweet and the next bitter. I am just listening to my body to tell me what it needs and wants. love and light
