George W. Bush is 6 Lifepath. The Life Path 6 indicates that very prominent in his nature is a strong sense of responsibility. Although this wasn't demonstrated in the early part of his life, it has surely come to the front during the past four years. He is very idealistic and must feel useful to be happy. This is the Life Path related to leadership by example and assumption of responsibility, thus, it is his obligation to pick up the burden and always be ready to help. The Life Path 6 is one who is compelled to function with strength and compassion (compassionate conservative?), a sympathetic and kind person, most would agree. Most with Life Path 6 are the positive types who willingly carry far more than their fair share of the load and are always there when needed. He is very human and realistic about life, and he feels that the most important thing in his life is the home, family and nationalistic interests. This often at the expense of former allies around the world.
Owing to his 6 lifepath, President Bush in the eyes of some has shown a tendency to become overwhelmed by responsibilities and he has resisted this with his frequently vacations and often short workdays. This Lifepath can also produces tendencies towards exaggeration, over - expansiveness, and self-righteousness. Imposing views in a dogmatic manner can be an issue of concern. The natural burdens of this number are heavy and sometimes responsibility is abdicated by a 6, as appears to have been the case for the President in his early years. However, this rejection of responsibility nearly always creates feelings of guilt, explaining his amazing mid-life turnaround.
