12-21-2012 REVISITED
There have been several articles recently declaring that there is nothing significant about the Winter Solstice of 2012 or its importance within the Mayan calendar. The article below takes exception with that misinformation and sets the record straight. The fact that on 12-21-2012 the Winter Solstice occurs at exactly 11:11 UT is the only message I need. --- "The early Maya astronomers who created the Long Count calendar some 2,100 years ago intended the end of the 13-baktun cycle of the Long Count (December 21, 2012) to target the alignment of the December solstice sun with the plane of our Milky Way galaxy."

So you mean to tell me that all that experts that have studied the Mayan calender and they all come up with the same conclusion that that date is the end times are wrong not to mention that the Mayan calender has been completely accurate up until now..that person needs to do some more research.
