What is November in Numerology? November (11 = 1+1=2) breaks down to a 2 in Numerology. This is a month to take a look at the love relationship in your life. Are you happy? Are you and your significant other taking time out for each other, or are you in a rut? You need to make an effort this month to be more loving. Maybe you could write a note to your partner giving them a list of why you love him/ her. You might want to surprise them with flowers or a romantic night out on the town. You will feel things deeply this month. Listen to your inner voice; it will not fail you in the month of 2. If you have a friendship that you have been neglecting, make an effort to reconnect. If someone hurts your feelings this month, don't be too quick to lash out. There is a good chance that you are being a little overly sensitive. Remember, no one can make you feel anything, it is always a choice. If you get really frustrated, I suggest that you jump in your car and yell at the top of your lungs until all the anger has left your body. Or go to the Gym and do some kickboxing- pretending to punch out the source of your frustration. Whatever you do, do not fight with the person your are upset with. It will backfire, and you will regret it. If you are single, be spontaneous and ask someone out. This is definitely a great month to start a new romance. Love is in the air!

Last month, I answered a letter from a woman who was having trouble with the Man in her life. He happened to be an 8 Life Path. I then received a letter from a newsletter subscriber saying that after he read what I wrote, he concluded that I must not like 8s very much. That is not true. What you need to understand is that there is a positive and negative side to every number. It is the negative side of the 8 that will prompt a person to write about his/her 8 partner. I actually have a special section in my new book that I call The Misunderstood 8. I am sharing this particular excerpt from the new book to give you a better understanding of the 8 Vibration. Enjoy! The Misunderstood 8
In The nineteen years I have been studying Numerology, there is one number that often writes to me in dismay or hurt, or seems the victim. It is the number 8. I recently received seven letters in a row from 8 Life Path men and women who were in pain and that is what has prompted me to write about it. The first letter was from an 8 asking for help with the daughter she was about to disown; the second wrote that he and his wife had no money and their relationship in general was not working; A third stated that she had never been successful in love or business. The other four letters sounded very similar. In each one of these letters, I discerned an 8 pattern, even before I checked the actual dates. Every one of them was either an 8 Life Path, was born on an 8 Birth-day day, or had an 8 Attitude. When an 8 is in your birth numbers, it is a significant part of you. It is a vibration you must find a way to master. I would say to an 8, get a piece of paper and trace the number 8 and realize that you are often doing in life what the numeral does on the paper- The number 8 looks like the symbol of infinity, which goes around and around forever. There are times when the 8s feel like they are going crazy, because they too feel as though they are going around and around forever. One valid definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and yet expecting a new result. The 8 must really keep this in mind.I would also ask the 8 to be more open-minded about the definition of an 8 Life Path. The 8 is here to establish financial security, but that does not mean that you are materialistic or greedy. It simply means that more than any other number, you are miserable if you cannot pay the bills, take care of yourself, and have economic protection. I have often said that God put us on an expensive planet; therefore he must have a plan for us to make money! Money is a part of life. If you use your natural gifts, the money will follow. There are two types of 8s, by the way. Some of them think that hanging onto money is their security, and they put every cent in the bank; the other 8s let everything they make slip right through their fingers. An 8 must find a balance between miserly hoarding and foolish spending. Numerology is here to help you work through the challenges of your particular energy or vibration. Nothing in what I share here should make an 8 feel put down, or less than any other number, because you aren’t. There are many enormously successful and admired people who are 8 Life Paths. One of them is Paul Newman, who started a line of healthy, organic foods whose profits go to charitable endeavors. Newman is a double 8—he was born on an 8 Birth-day and has an 8 Life Path. Other thriving 8 Life paths are Barbara Streisand, Diane Sawyer, Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford, and Sandra Bullock. I want you 8s to continue to strive for your goals, financial and personal. Learn to choose your words carefully, so that you don’t unintentionally offend the people in your lives. If you have over the years adopted the role of victim, work on ending it now. If a negative situation does arise, be accountable. Look for whatever role you may have played in the scenario. The minute we look for others to blame for our situations in life is the minute we lose our own power. When you are raised in poverty, however, and you have not reprogrammed your mind, then you’ll always feel like you have no money. I know both as a Numerologist and life counselor, that if you don’t change the way you think about money, no matter how much you make, you will find yourself dealing with financial loss over and over.

Money ≠ Evil
Often clients with money issues back up their experiences with the quote, “Money is the root of all evil.” But did you know that’s not the real quotation? The correct quote is: “The love of money is the root of all evil.” When an 8 Life Path is living on the positive side of the energy, they don’t love or hate money—they feel in control of their finances, and have no need to attach emotions to the concept of money. I find there are various people, no matter what their Life Path number, who feel somewhat guilty about wanting extra money. I put it to them this way: If you were a millionaire, wouldn’t you want to take care of the people in your life? Money gives you the power to help yourself and others. That is when it starts to make sense to them.
Whether we’re 8s or not, our feelings about money often get bred into us as children. This is why people who win the lottery often go broke after just a couple of years. Deep down, they don’t really believe the money is theirs, so they have trouble holding onto it. We all need to reprogram our minds so we see that money is the means to an end—not an end in itself. For anyone who has money problems, I would suggest a rigid adherence to a program of affirmations of plenty. Here are two excellent affirmations for the Life Path 8, and anyone with financial issues: Affirmation 1: I believe in infinite abundance and the money is always there. Affirmation 2: I am open to receiving the bounty of this generous Universe. The more I give, the more I receive. It takes just l5 minutes a day to erase the inner tapes of negativity that we so often carry around in our psyches. The only real reason we are here on this planet is to establish inner peace, love others and to make this world a better place. That should be the ultimate goal.

Here are the three examples on how to find out if you have an 8 Life Path, an 8 Birth- Day or an 8 Attitude. Example #1: A person born on 3-5-1963 3+5+1+9+6+2= 26=2+6 = 8 Life Path When you add 3-5-1963 all together and break it down to one digit, it becomes an 8 Life Path. Example #2: A person born the 8th, 17th, and the 26th would all be considered an 8 Birth- Day Number. Example #3: To find out if you have an 8 Attitude Number, you would break down the month and day of your birth date and reduce it to one digit. Example- a person born on 9-17. Add the 9 +1 +7= 17=1+7=8. Someone born on 9-17 would have an 8 Attitude Number. I often get emails asking me if a name change really makes a difference in a person’s life. Here is my answer to that question: Can a name change affect your life? You bet it can. Pamela Anderson is my favorite example. The name Pamela Anderson has the very positive numbers 1, 2, and 3. A 1 is independent and likes to stay busy. A 2 is loving and affectionate. A 3 enjoys laughter and communication. These are very positive numbers. When she married Tommy Lee, and took on Pamela Lee, her life completely shifted. Her name numbers became 8, 8, and 7. The 8s are known for experiencing hard lessons and it is not uncommon for them to feel victimized- and with good reason. Well, what happened? Tommy physically abused her and he also gave her Hepatitis C by sharing a needle when getting tattoos. When the 7 vibration is not happy, they will escape through drugs or alcohol. She has said that when they were together, she drank and partied more than she ever had before. When she finally got divorced and took her maiden name back, her life improved immediately. If you think back and remember Pamela during her marriage, she always looked exhausted. Now she looks more rested and back to her former self. Again, you bet a name change can affect your life.
