i became curious after viewing the video in the previous post on the venus transits. i looked up the symbology for the planets and couldn't help but notice that the symbol for venus looks much like an ankh. so i looked into, also, the symbology of the ankh.

Symbol of eternal life. The gods are often seen holding an ankh to someone's lips this is considered to be an offering of "The Breath of Life". The breath you will need in the afterlife.

it all seems very interesting to me. i have something nawing at me with all of this so excuse my post if it seems meaningless to you. i like i can post something here and it will be here for my later research/viewing.

Cool! I see your point about Venus! I've always had a thing for the ankh, feeling it inside before I ever even knew what it was, officially. And I seem to feel a link to Venus as well... so perhaps they have more of a connection than this level has even discovered yet. Hey! Maybe you'll be the one to "remember" more about it all!!


I hope you don't mind, Bre, but I resized the first image you posted... it was SO large. It's now stored in the smaller size on my image storage site, and then linked to here. The other thing I wanted to mention is that it's not usually a good idea to "live/direct link" to another site, unless it's an image storage site. It takes up bandwidth between the sites and slows down both, typically. Many sites won't even let you link to an image they have posted, for this reason (there are various ways to prevent a direct link).

no worries sowelu. guess posting links instead of the pictures should have to do? i always figured if it wasn't ok to do it that way they wouldn't allow it in the first place. i noticed the first one was really large too. lol. thanks sowelu.
