What a difference a day makes. This issue of Cosmic Time was written on Sunday with an intent for publication on Monday, in time for Tuesday's New Moon.
We were reworking the "Quantum Potential" article to mention the deadly "nor'easter" that struck the East Coast of the U.S. over the weekend. The huge storm - stretching all the way from Florida to New England - is yet another stunning example of the Earth changes associated with the shift into the next world age.
And then the news came of the tragedy at Virginia Tech on Monday morning. I have a personal connection to this beautiful area of Virginia nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was born there. My father was earning his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech when I came into this world. In hearing the news, I wept. Mass shootings are becoming so frequent and increasingly violent.
These current events - and dozens like them every day - are deeply humbling, unsettling. Countless lives are transformed instantaneously.
We are living the Great Purification. The loss, the tragedy. It was all foreseen. Each day, world events reflect the depths of our own souls, the extremes of our collective experience as we journey together as spirits in form.
And yet, through all the terror and chaos and tragedy, there is also hope. We are witnessing and experiencing the birth of a new consciousness. These are the labor pains. The baby is crowning.
In this passage, the old ways, the old guard, are giving way to the new. The birthing process isn't easy, and it isn't always fun. But we sense there is a higher purpose, a divine intent at work. And we can align with it every day.
We can take joy and delight in the moment-to-moment, precious gift of each experience life offers. Open to receive the blessings of this creation. Lend a hand in service to others. Love completely, without hesitation. Know our own hearts. Be peace.
