Since I never quite know where to put this chart, I thought I'd post it here this time. This is today's Solar Flare chart, and man am I feeling these!!

hi guys! hey i was just wondering if the solar activity has anything to do with hurricane activity. i have on msn/nbc on the tube. i remebered there had just been a lot of solar activity. another thing i was wondering is if hurricanes always spin counter-clockwise...counter-clockwise circles are used for banishing i believe and i know they are used for clearing negativity from the chakras. maybe there is some relation in this with hurricanes ?!

I honestly don't know ducky, but as soon as I read your post I thought, "Of COURSE!" *heehee* It immediately made heart sense to me that the spin direction of the hurricanes relates to the use of spinning or circle-making that practitioners do. Cool connection! And yes... I forget who came up with the "formula", (Mitch Battros? Jeff Rense? I forget...), but Solar Flares increase certain energies here, which in turn affect the atmospheric pressures and there are other impacts, all leading to earth changes, which includes wild weather patterns. Found the "formula" on Ellie Crystal's site, but I don't remember where she got it, and it doesn't say: Ongoing massive solar flares ---->solar mass ejections reach Earth ---->effect planetary magnetics ---->shifting ocean and jet stream currents in Pacific area - Ring of Fire ----> unusual and extreme weather patterns around the world ----> resulting in Earth Changes. www.crystalinks.com/sun3.htmlWay to go ducky intuition!

Counter clockwise in the Northern Hemispere and Clockwise in the Southern Hemispere. The opposite direction of a flushing toilet (toilet water below the equator spins clockwise). And, connected to anti-gravity. Not the toilet water, but the Hurricane. Check the lastest information on the Earth's Core: www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/science/08/25/earth.spin.ap/index.html

Thought it might be wise to be on the alert still, our chart today looks much like it did prior to the hurricane. Though we haven't hit the top of the chart as we did then, flare frequency and intensity range is similar.

"Scientists classify solar flares according to their x-ray brightness in the wavelength range 1 to 8 Angstroms. There are 3 categories: X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms. M-class flares are medium-sized; they generally cause brief radio blackouts that affect Earth's polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. Compared to X- and M-class events, C-class flares are small with few noticeable consequences here on Earth." www.spaceweather.com/glossary/flareclasses.html_______________________________________________________________________ What are solar flares?A solar flare is a tremendous explosion on the Sun that happens when energy stored in 'twisted' magnetic fields (usually above sunspots) is suddenly released. In a matter of just a few minutes they heat material to many millions of degrees and produce a burst of radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, including from radio waves to x-rays and gamma rays. Scientists classify solar flares according to their brightness in the x-ray wavelengths. There are three categories: X-class flares are big; they are major events that can trigger radio blackouts around the whole world and long-lasting radiation storms in the upper atmosphere. M-class flares are medium-sized; they generally cause brief radio blackouts that affect Earth's polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. Compared to X- and M-class events, C-class flares are small with few noticeable consequences here on Earth. Solar flares are different to 'coronal mass ejections' (CMEs), which were once thought to be initiated by solar flares. CMEs are huge bubbles of gas threaded with magnetic field lines that are ejected from the Sun over the course of several hours. Although some are accompanied by flares, it is now known that most CMEs are not associated with flares. This has important implications for understanding and predicting the effects of solar activity on the Earth and in space. If a CME collides with the Earth, it can excite a geomagnetic storm. Large geomagnetic storms have, among other things, caused electrical power outages and damaged communications satellites. The energetic particles driven along by CMEs can be damaging to both electronic equipment and astronauts or passengers in high-flying aircraft. Solar flares, on the other hand, directly affect the ionosphere and radio communications at the Earth, and also release energetic particles into space. Therefore, to understand and predict 'space weather' and the effect of solar activity on the Earth, an understanding of both CMEs and flares is required. www.esa.int/esaSC/SEMHKP7O0MD_index_0.html

SOLAR FLARE: At 1740 UT on Sept. 7th, Earth-orbiting satellites detected a major solar flare, X13-class or stronger, coming from the sun's eastern limb. The source of the explosion was probably returning sunspot 798, which sparked strong auroras in August.
Today's blast was not Earth-directed, but explosions later this week (and next week) could be as the active region turns more and more toward our planet. September might be a good month for auroras; stay tuned.

UPDATE:
SOLAR FLARE: On Sept. 7th at 1740 UT (1:40 p.m. EDT), Earth-orbiting satellites detected a major X17-class solar flare coming from the sun's eastern limb: image. The blast caused a complete blackout of HF radio transmissions on the daylit side of Earth.
The source of the flare was returning sunspot 798 (see below), which sparked strong auroras in late August. Two weeks of quiet followed those storms while the sunspot transited the farside of the sun--but now it's back, and it's turning toward our planet again. Explosions later this week and next could produce more radio blackouts and some lovely September auroras.

They're so nonchalant about it. Should they be?
